Interfit is the service division of Yokohama TWS, a global tyre and wheel organisation operating across more than 40 countries.

We provide specialist tyre fitting, servicing and tyre management solutions across the materials handling, ports, transport, waste, industrial and heavy equipment sectors.

A successful branch needs a manager who understands the numbers, knows their customers and takes the time to support their team.

We’re looking for a Branch Manager to lead our Smithfield operation, with responsibility for day-to-day service delivery, team performance, safety and profitability.

You’ll have the opportunity to make decisions, improve how the branch operates and develop new business while looking after an established customer base.

About the role

You’ll lead a team across business development, warehouse operations and tyre fitting services, working closely with customer support to keep jobs running smoothly and customers informed.

The role combines practical operational leadership with full profit and loss responsibility.

On any given day, you could be visiting a customer, reviewing branch results, supporting your team with a service issue or planning resources for upcoming work.

What you’ll be responsible for

Leading your team

  • Set clear expectations and provide practical support, coaching and feedback.

  • Build a team that takes pride in its work and follows through on commitments.

  • Identify training needs and develop the skills and capability of your people.

  • Address performance issues early and fairly.

 Running a safe, reliable operation

  • Oversee daily branch operations, making sure people, stock and equipment are ready for the work ahead.

  • Work with customer support to review schedules, manage capacity and resolve service issues.

  • Arrange servicing, maintenance and repairs for all branch tools, trucks and equipment to keep them safe and ready for use.

  • Maintain safe working practices, appropriate training and compliance with company procedures.

  • Keep stock accurate and maintain an organised warehouse.

  • Identify and fix problems that affect service and productivity

 Growing sales and customer relationships

  • Build strong relationships with existing customers and understand their businesses.

  • Work with Business Development colleagues to win new customers and identify opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Stay involved in customer enquiries, site visits and service concerns.

  • Take ownership of customer outcomes and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience managing a branch, service operation or similar business unit.

  • A track record of leading people and taking responsibility for business results.

  • Confidence working with budgets and sales targets.

  • The ability to earn trust with customers and your team.

  • Sound judgement when priorities change or problems arise.

  • A practical understanding of workplace safety.

  • Confidence using business systems

Experience in tyres, material handling, industrial services, automotive or a related industry will be highly regarded.
