About Yokohama TWS Latvia 

Metalworking enterprise manufacturing wheels for agricultural and off-road machinery in Liepāja since 2009. Since 2023, we are part of the global Yokohama Group and the sole agricultural wheel manufacturer within the Group. We operate and grow in Liepāja, Kapsēdes iela 2. 

And we are looking for:

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

Safety Culture • Risk Management • Continuous Improvement

ROLE

As a HS Manager you will develop and enhance the company's occupational health and safety system by strengthening safety culture, ensuring risk management, and fostering the implementation of international occupational safety standards so that every employee works in a safe, structured, and sustainable workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate health & safety operations and continuous improvements.

• Promote safety culture and reinforce safe daily behavior.

• Collaborate with Yokohama Group EHS functions to adopt best practices.

• Lead risk assessment and preventive action planning.

• Analyze safety KPIs, incident statistics, and safety trends.

• Organize workplace improvement and accident prevention measures.

• Investigate incidents/accidents and identify root causes.

• Ensure compliance with Latvian regulations, ISO 45001 and Yokohama standards.

• Advise on safety and risk management.

• Lead safety-related development projects and improvement initiatives.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

✓ Higher education or qualification in occupational safety per Latvian regulations.

✓ Safety experience in manufacturing, preferred - metalworking

✓ Ability to analyze safety data & KPIs to create fact-based proposals.

✓ Strong digital skills (MS Office (Excel), presentation tools) Latvian and English communication (spoken and written) skills.

✓ Structured and systematic, with the ability to coordinate and monitor multiple activities while consistently meeting deadlines.

✓ Ability to influence company culture, persuade, and manage change.
