ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The role requires a quality-focused professional with strong experience in quality management systems, ISO compliance, auditing, process improvement, product quality, and metrology within a manufacturing environment. The Quality Specialist will support the Quality Manager in maintaining site management systems, managing quality documentation, conducting audits, evaluating nonconformities, and coordinating corrective actions across the Solid, POS, and Pneumatic plants. The role also includes product and process audits, tire-testing support, quality training, calibration, and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), requiring strong analytical skills, technical judgement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT

  • Support the Quality Manager and Quality team in maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System and Integrated Management System across the organization.   
  • Manage quality documentation, procedures, records, and related data to ensure compliance with ISO certification requirements, company standards, and internal quality controls.   
  • Participate in internal, external, product, and process audits, while supporting quality-related training and awareness activities across relevant functions.   
  • Analyze nonconformities, quality deviations, complaints, and process issues, and coordinate appropriate corrective and preventive actions with responsible teams.   
  • Support tire testing, test-result evaluation, complaint analysis, and technical quality investigations to identify root causes and improve product quality.   
  • Coordinate quality activities across departments and provide technical guidance to strengthen process compliance, product quality, and operational consistency.   
  • Manage key metrology activities, including calibration, verification, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and control of gauges and measuring instruments.   
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and records relating to calibration, verification, measuring equipment, and quality-system requirements.   
  • Work closely with Production and other cross-functional teams to improve process control, resolve quality concerns, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives across all plants.

YOUR ELIGIBILITY   

  • Diploma, HND/NDT, or Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Rubber Technology, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline. 
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant Quality Management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.   
  • Good knowledge of QMS, EMS, OH&SMS, ISO requirements, and integrated management systems.   
  • Internal Auditor training is required; VDA 6.3 training will be an added advantage.   
  • Sound understanding of rubber technology, manufacturing processes, nonconformity analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Practical exposure to metrology, calibration, measuring instruments, and MSA activities will be advantageous.
  • Strong English communication, analytical, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, flexible, and professional approach.

ESSENTIAL KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 

  • Quality Management Systems: Strong knowledge of QMS, EMS, OH&SMS, ISO requirements, and integrated management systems.   
  • Auditing & Compliance: Practical experience in internal, external, product, and process audits, including nonconformity identification and corrective actions.   
  • Metrology & Measurement Systems: Good understanding of calibration, measuring instruments, MSA, and metrology controls.   
  • Process & Product Quality: Ability to analyze quality deviations, support tire-testing activities, and drive process and product-quality improvements.   
  • Professional Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, communication, decision-making, technical judgement, cross-functional collaboration, and attention to detail.
