About the Job:

This role is at the centre of our day-to-day customer service operations, coordinating customer requirements from initial enquiry through to job completion.

You will be a key point of contact for customers, working closely with our Branch and State Managers, tyre technicians and operational teams to coordinate jobs, manage schedules, respond to changing priorities and keep customers informed throughout the process.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, takes ownership and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

You will need to be organised and accurate, but just as importantly, you will need to be a strong communicator who can think on their feet and solve problems as they arise.

Experience in tyres, heavy machinery, field service or a similar operational environment would be advantageous but isn't essential. Training will be provided on our industry, systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a key point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email

  • Coordinate customer requirements from initial enquiry through to job completion

  • Create, manage and progress customer jobs through our systems

  • Coordinate and schedule daily work for tyre technicians

  • Work closely with Branch and State Managers to coordinate workloads, scheduling priorities and local operational requirements

  • Liaise with customers, technicians and operational teams regarding job requirements and scheduling

  • Manage changing priorities, urgent requests and breakdown work

  • Keep customers informed of scheduling, job progress and completion

  • Maintain accurate customer and job information

  • Process invoicing and associated job documentation

  • Follow up outstanding requirements to ensure jobs are completed and closed out accurately

  • Escalate operational or customer issues to the appropriate Branch or State Manager when required

  • Proactively follow up outstanding quotes to maximise conversion opportunities.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy service environment

  • Ability to think on your feet and solve problems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • A practical, solutions focused approach

  • Confidence communicating with customers and coordinating across multiple internal teams

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with Branch and State Managers, technicians and other operational teams

  • Confidence using computer-based systems and learning new technology

  • A collaborative, team focused attitude

Experience in customer service, service coordination, scheduling, dispatch or a similar operational role would be highly regarded.
