The position is responsible for leading the Finance & Control function for Yokohama TWS Turkey, ensuring effective financial management, statutory compliance, accounting accuracy, treasury operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Based in Istanbul, Türkiye, the role provides financial leadership and business partnering to the local management team while ensuring full compliance with company policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Turkish statutory and tax regulations.
The position is responsible for managing all Finance activities, working closely with local and regional stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and public authorities. The role delivers financial insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making, improve operational performance, strengthen governance, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the business.
Lead and coordinate all Finance & Control activities for Turkey, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with Turkish legislation, IFRS, company policies, and internal procedures.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Prepare and oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
Manage treasury activities, cash flow planning, banking relationships, and liquidity management.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory financial statements, tax declarations, regulatory filings, and corporate reporting requirements.
Provide financial guidance and business support to the Country Management Team, contributing to strategic and operational decision-making.
Maintain and continuously improve internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Coordinate relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, government authorities, and other financial service providers.
Collaborate with Regional and Global Finance teams to ensure alignment with Group policies, financial standards, and reporting requirements.
Support investment projects, business initiatives, and organizational changes through sound financial analysis and recommendations.
Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
Full compliance with Turkish accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Reliable budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Effective treasury and cash flow management.
Strong internal control environment and financial governance.
Continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting efficiency.

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Finance leadership, preferably within an international manufacturing environment.
Previous experience leading the Finance function of a legal entity or country organization is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Turkish accounting principles, IFRS, taxation, treasury, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP is considered an advantage).
Fluency in Turkish and English is required.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and business partnering skills.
Ability to work effectively in an international and matrix organization.
