About the Job:

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, preparing reports, and contributing to the smooth and compliant execution of daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and verify accounting documents in accordance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Process supplier invoices, customer invoices, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the ERP system.
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Maintain and organize accounting documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial information and efficient accounting processes.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation.
  • Assist in improving accounting processes and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the direct manager

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
