About the Job:

The IT Security Director is responsible for defining and leading the company’s information security strategy, ensuring that IT risks are identified, assessed, and managed within the risk appetite set by the business.

The role oversees the design and implementation of security governance, policies, controls, monitoring systems, and access management processes to protect enterprise information and reduce the impact of potential security incidents.

The IT Security Director also ensures that effective practices are in place for incident response, business continuity, backup and recovery, eDiscovery, and digital forensics, contributing to the overall cyber resilience of the organization.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall business priorities and risk appetite.
  • Work closely with business units to support the identification, assessment, and management of information security and IT-related risks across the organization.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the information security management framework, ensuring that policies, standards, and practices remain effective and up to date.
  • Collaborate with relevant functions and governance committees to ensure the consistent application of security policies and standards across technology projects, systems, and services.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the enterprise information security function, promoting a structured, proactive, and business-oriented approach to security management.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across the company to increase awareness of risk management topics and strengthen the overall security culture.
  • Support business technology planning by providing current expertise and a forward-looking view of technology trends, systems, and security implications.


Job and Personal Requirements

In order to successfully perform the role, you must have: 

  • A degree in Business Administration or a technology-related field
  • A professional certification in security management
  • 5 to 12 years of experience in risk management and information security
  • Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a high level of personal integrity
  • Innovative thinking, a problem-solving attitude, and strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary, and international teams
  • Experience in contract and vendor negotiation and management, including managed services
  • Fluency in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, manage complexity, and perform effectively under pressure


What we offer:

A permanent contract, CCNL Gomma Plastica, level Quadro Funzionario, a RAL range for this role is between 67.000 EUR and 80.000 EUR, plus a 10% Variable Pay component and a Company car. 

The final offer will be defined based on objective criteria, including relevant qualifications, professional experience, role-related skills, competencies, internal equity and the approved salary structure.
