Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Off-Highway Tire (Industrial, Agricultural & Construction) business in Japan. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence across assigned segments and territories.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving financial targets, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying new market opportunities within the off-highway tire sector.

Task & Responsibilities 

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve assigned revenue, gross profit, and EBIT targets for the designated segment and territory
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and customer base

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify emerging markets, customer needs, and industry trends within the off-highway tire segment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop long-term partnerships with customers by understanding their operational needs and propose developments  
  • Provide tailored solutions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, revenue reports, and expense analysis
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for business improvement

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in B2B industrial or automotive sales in Japan
  • Experience in tire sales or related industries preferred
  • Exposure to Off-Highway, construction, agricultural, or industrial segments is an advantage

  • Excellent customer focus and relationship-building capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively in a hands-on environment
  • Strong business acumen with end-to-end sales cycle management expertise
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking
