Logistics Advisor reports to the Group Logistics Director.

He / She

oversees and assesses logistics processes covering warehousing, transportation and customer service across all company sites.
originates, designs and implements changes and improvements (e.g. cost reductions, service enhancements, standardizations etc.).
assists Group Logistics Director with projects where required and other tasks.
- Originating designing and implementing new or enhanced logistics processes, systems, and tools.
- Managing directly or participating in ongoing and/or planned strategic projects (transportation management system migration and upgrade, new warehouse management system requirement definition, tendering and implementation, warehouse layout re-design, logistics cost modelling, legal and regulatory compliance requirements, etc.)
- Designing, implementing and analyzing logistics cost and service KPIs
- Designing, implementing and managing logistics data repositories (e.g. warehouses, contracts, assets etc.)
- Leading and /or participating in logistics tenders
- Supporting the collection and analysis of cross functional requirements for logistics processes and systems
- Degree in quantitative (preferably STEM) subject
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within logistics functions (warehousing, transportation) on manager and/or process expert/leader position)
- Process oriented, System approach.
- Fluent English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and preferably Business analytics tools
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organizational skills
- Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure

The legal basis for the processing of your data is our legitimate interest and your consent (in the case of advertising post). Therefore, you will be asked to give your consent below (in the case of advertised post) and in connection therewith you will have to confirm that you have read this privacy policy and that you consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein.

Disclosure and transfer of personal data

The personal data collected and processed through our career pages will be accessible only to selected Yokohama TWS employees or external recruiters selected by Yokohama TWS and for recruitment purposes only. These persons may access your personal data from abroad both within and outside the EU/EEA. Such transfer of personal data, if any, to or from another country is necessary for Yokohama TWS to be able to evaluate your interest in the company and whether or not we would be able to conclude an employment contract with you. As for applications relating to a specific position, which has been announced for in an employment ad by a specific company within the Trelleborg group, your personal data will be transferred to that company. Furthermore, if another company within the group is responsible for the administration of the recruitment, your personal data will be transferred to that company as well. Information regarding to which companies such transfers will be performed, and in which countries these companies have their business seats, will appear from the relevant employment ad. As for spontaneous applications, which do not relate to a specific employment ad, your personal data may be transferred to any company within the Yokohama TWS group to which your application might be of interest.

Security and confidentiality

Appropriate technical and organizational security measures are taken and maintained to protect personal data against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, destruction or loss of personal data.

Your personal data will be kept in confidence and we will hold it during the recruitment process, until the recruitment process is completed and for a period of up to two years thereafter, in order to be able to defend potential legal claims (we will keep only that data which might be useful for a potential legal claim).

If you have not applied for an advertised post, your personal data will be held for a period of twelve months and if you withdraw your consent before the end of that period, we will no longer save your personal data.
