🚀 About the Role

As the Interfit Operations Manager, you will spearhead the development and performance of our Interfit Operations Team while ensuring operational excellence across all states. Partnering closely with the Interfit Sales & Service Director as well as State and Branch Managers, you will define, implement, and execute a nationally aligned operations strategy.

You will be a pivotal leader who ensures consistency, quality, efficiency, and safety across Interfit operations Australia wide.

đź”§ Key Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:
    • Lead through influence and governance, collaboration, and operational excellence partnering with Branch Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse & Logistics, Procurement, and Service Fitters to embed a unified, high‑performance operating model that elevates Interfit nationally.
    • Build, implement, and regularly review operational policies and procedures across Customer Service, Logistics, and Procurement
    • Support the setup and rollout of new Interfit locations / units
    • Monitor and enhance service delivery levels
    • Develop training materials and visual work instructions for operational roles (fitters, warehouse operators, customer service)
    • Champion adherence to Interfit Health & Safety standards across all sites
    • Collaborate with the global purchasing team to identify supplier partnership opportunities (presses, trucks, tools, and more)

🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • You’ll stand out if you bring:
    • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 10+ years of proven experience in operations management
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills
    • Knowledge of ERP systems (highly desirable)
    • Excellent English communication skills
    • Ability to manage complexity and work under pressure
    • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills
    • Confident negotiation capabilities
    • People leadership experience with the ability to motivate diverse teams
    • Understanding of Australian Health & Safety legislation (advantageous)
