About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced IT specialist who enjoys challenges, understands the manufacturing environment, and wants to be a key link between IT and manufacturing technology (OT). If you enjoy solving technical problems, like varied work, and want to be involved in the digitization of industrial processes, we have a great opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration and maintenance of local applications and systems.
Technical support and incident resolution – hands-on approach welcome.
Cooperation on system integration between OT and IT environments.
Consulting on the implementation of IT solutions into local processes.
Close cooperation with the production project manager and development team.
Participation in the creation of project documentation and communication with internal and external partners.
Support for local infrastructure, services, and workplace management in cooperation with central IT.

Key Requirements:

University degree in IT/computer science or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Experience with IT support in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with OT/IT system integration is an advantage.
Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux.
Experience with databases (SQL, Oracle) – basic administration, query optimization, data integrity management.
Knowledge of OT/IT communication principles (e.g., OPC, industrial networks).Familiarity with network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Scripting (e.g., PowerShell) is an advantage.
Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to organize work independently.
Team player with effective communication skills.
Czech – fluent, English – B1/B2 (technical documentation + communication)
Flexibility and a desire to learn new technologies.
Resilience to stress and the ability to function in a dynamic environment.
