The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for the delivery of high-quality support to external customers. This individual should strive daily for maximizing sales , continuously improving our service standards through excellence by making sure the customers’ needs are taken care of in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. This individual should anticipate the needs of the customer and work to prevent any interruptions in the service. This individual must be an independent thinker and be able to establishing cooperation with the sales team as well as other internal departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer customer calls and reply to customer emails.
  • Enter orders into the ERP and follow the order progress through to delivery.
  • Navigate and communicate with customers via customer web portals if applicable.
  • Develop expertise for identifying product, increase availability and minimize lead times.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of orders, credits, returns.
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Support team selling efforts, follow through on inquiries.
  • Participate in customer calls, team calls and meeting.
  • Active contribution to achieve or exceed monthly sales budget
  • Provide inputs to the Supply Chain Manager regarding product demand evolution and missed sales opportunities
     

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years in the rubber/tyre industry, automotive equipment or machinery sectors.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in B2B, internal sales, telemarketing, online technical support or field sales.
  • Degree in Economics or Marketing.
  • Preferably residing on the Anatolian side of Istanbul.
  • Extrovert, curious, fast learner, interested in technical matters
  • Ambitious, with a strong appetite for sales and taking proudness at exceeding targets
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, able to work with a minimum level supervision and resilient to stress
